The process of renovating your home or designing your custom furniture doesn’t have to be complicated. In fact, we work hard to make it as simple as possible to deliver exactly what you want. Even if you’re not sure about the fine details, our process allows for options and changes before we reach the building phase. Don’t worry — we won’t stop until we get it right.
Here’s how the process works:
Setting a Budget
Big or small, setting a budget is an important first step to help determine the overall size and amount of detailed work that can be incorporated into a piece.
Based on your budget, we’ll review with you the different types of materials and finishes that fit within your budget and you can choose what you like best. We’ll discuss your overall intentions for your kitchen, basement, bathroom, or custom-built furniture to make sure we use the most appropriate material for its intended use. If you’re not certain how you want the final product to look, we’ll take time to brainstorm ideas together and review samples so you will know what to expect.
To give you a better idea of what your home remodel can look like, John will create the initial design of the room layout using software that will show the dimensions and details of what your finished piece will look like, and then give it to you to review. The same software can be used to show you your next custom-built JB Adams Designs furniture.
Once you are ready to move forward, we will execute a design agreement and finalize all of the details regarding your remodel or custom furniture. The design agreement will detail what you can expect from JB Adams Designs and establish the delivery and payment schedule.
You’ve entrusted us to deliver a quality product and we aim to meet those expectations. All you have to do is sit back and wait for your new room remodel or custom piece of furniture to come to life.
